Danielle Constable, our Swimwear Buyer attends the Miami Swimwear Shows
To remain ahead of trends and keep our title as the ultimate online swimwear destination, our lovely swimwear buyer, Danielle attends the amazing shows in Miami!
This year, “Miami was really good for me” says Danielle. “I attended the Swimshow at the Miami Convention Centre, where I saw all the SS12 collections from hundreds of swim and beachwear brands across the globe...A very busy 3 days!”
To ensure figleaves swimwear is at the forefront of style, fashion and innovative design, Danielle attended pantone seminars highlighting influences, trends and colour forecasts right through to 2013. Danielle said, “I also managed to get out to the shops on my last day to see what the influences are on South Beach, from the big department stores and chains, through to the little independent boutiques!”
Something to look forward to!
The figleaves team were excited for Danielle’s return and keen to hear the main highlights of the show and what to expect from our swimwear in the future. Danielle’s feedback was that key trends from the show were “colour blocking, lace/crochet, fringing and the 1 piece swimsuit.” (I can’t wait!)
