My exclusive figleaves active sports bra has arrived, trainers dug out from the back of my wardrobe and I am back in the gym; Race for Life training has begun.
On Sunday 17th July myself, along with 13 other figleaves ladies will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by running the Race for Life in London’s Hyde Park. As a non-runner I most definitely need to get some training in before the 5k race and as a self-proclaimed lingerie expert I definitely understand the importance of a well fitting sports bra.
A few weeks ago I put my name down for a wearer trial for the new figleaves active sports bra. Luckily it arrived yesterday hot off the sample line, just in time for me to wear, wash and report back to our Garment Technology team (who are busy perfecting the fit of our first ever sports bra).
Our Just Giving page is also up and running (haha!), all ready to receive generous donations from our very kind figleaves colleagues, friends and family. If you would like to show your support for the figleaves team and more importantly, Cancer Research UK, then please visit www.justgiving.com/figleavesraceforlife.
If you are also running in any of the Race for Life events up and down the country this summer then let us know. We could maybe share training tips!
I will let you know how my training is going over the next few weeks.
Michelle xx
