With only a couple of days left until the Royal Wedding I am beside myself with excitement! I love to check out the all wedding related gossip, from what designer wedding dress Kate will be wearing, to which celebrities will be invited to the ceremony. I’ve got my bank holiday Friday planned already and I intend to not leave the house all day. A full English fry up for breakfast is on the menu and a quintessentially English pie and mash (hold the liquor) for dinner is definitely on the cards.
So many of my friends are planning to get married this summer and they are forever talking about venues and food; I feel like the whole world has gone wedding mad! I love the excitement though, the buzzy atmosphere and the general patriotic feeling that comes part and parcel of the Royal Wedding mania!
Every day I check my usual websites for the royal gossip and I’m not surprised the designer of Kate’s gown hasn’t slipped yet. Every girl must dream about that special dress she is going to wear on what is supposed to be the happiest day of her life, so keeping it top secret I’m sure has been a military operation. I hope Kate opts for a sleek ivory gown, classy and elegant, ideal for her slim frame. I can’t even begin to imagine how nervous she must feel, I would be an absolute wreck but she seems to be handling it all so well.
