Hello, the eagle eyed among you may have noticed that we have recently been revamping Blogleaves, regularly adding articles from a whole host of new authors and covering lots of exciting topics.
Our team has been expanding, so we have lots of great new authors; everyone will be introducing themselves in Friday blog posts over the coming weeks, but as I am the blog editor I thought it pertinent that I kick off proceedings.
So hello everyone, I’m Hayley and I edit blogleaves, figleaves.com, our adverts, leaflets and catalogues, I write a large portion of these too, along with Hayley M- who you will soon be introduced too. I started my career at John Lewis and have worked and blogged for ASOS, I have also worked as a beauty writer, so you might get the occasional post on skincare!
My true love is definitely lingerie though, I’m in the small back, large cup gang, so have spent and inordinate amount of time trying to find the perfect bra. Often, I think I’ve reached bra-nirvana only to be thwarted a few weeks later with loose straps or red marks on my skin. The search continues, but in the meantime here’s a couple of my favourites Fantasie Ava on the left, Midnight Grace Periwinkle on the right:
As for swimwear, I am a fan of cup-sized designs – I mean if I’m going to wear that little I want it to give me every chance of looking like a goddess rather than a jelly. My summer swim picks are so vast that I’ll be dedicating a full blog to them in the next few weeks.
I love working for figleaves and I am fascinated by the design, construction and beauty of the humble bra and after all these obsessing years I’ve become quite an expert (if I do say so myself!). Drop me a line below if there are any blogs you’d like us to write or you have any questions.
