Mums model for figleaves.com!

Yesterday was an exciting day for us here at figleaves HQ. We had a swim photoshoot with 5 great fun and very brave Mums!

figleaves.com had been challenged via blogs and twitter to find great swimwear for real women’s bodies. I’m pleased to report that we duly rose to the occasion; inviting 5 mums with different body shapes and style needs to our offices in Welwyn for a fitting and photoshoot.

Becky, Paula, Clare, Jill and Naomi arrived at 9.30am visibly excited, but a tad nervous too. It’s no mean feat to stand in a studio full of people, wearing only your swimwear and be photographed for all the world to see! After introductions and cupcakes we quickly got to work - sending the ladies off to fittings and hair and make-up sessions.  

Ready to help and advise were our in-house bra fitter and garment technologist extraordinaire- Rebecca, and our swimwear expert and trainee merchandiser- Samantha.

Two professional hair and makeup artists, Meherun and Ali, were on hand to bring out our model’s natural beauty and our wonderful in house photographer Natalie did a great job of bringing out their inner supermodel.

All five of our models found the fit experience to be really beneficial, Rebecca and Samantha made sure they chose swimwear that would suit, flatter and be a confidence booster for everyone.  I think I can safely say that all five models had a great day and looked incredible in swimwear!

So, if you’re feeling nervous about your summer swimwear, be positive that no matter what your shape, there is swimwear that will flatter you and give you the confidence to strut your stuff on the beach this year!
