It’s been a busy week at figleaves.com. We’re flat out preparing for our press show next week and our Autumn Winter photoshoot. We’ve launched yet more new arrivals, fresh offers and are making the final tweaks to May’s edition of Style Leaves – don’t miss it, it’s a great one. New arrivals - French Connection maxi dress, Original Penguin shirt and Henry Holland tights
Our Harriet has spent the week loading up on carbs as, like thousands of others, she is preparing for the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday. Let's hope she remembers her sports bra!
The first copies of our swim catalogue have arrived at figleaves.com, and we couldn’t be prouder. And if that wasn’t enough we’ve had the drama of team members and their partners struck down with a case of the volcanic ash. Tales of trains through Europe and ships over the seas have left us feeling exhausted on behalf of all those slowly but surely making their way safely home.
On Tuesday, Ryan and I made a trip to the hotels in the Heathrow area dropping off supplies of underwear for those stuck in dear old blighty. Often the cost of doing laundry in hotels is more expensive than buying new items, so we know they’ve been gratefully received by the guys at The Sheraton, Aurora and Holiday Inn among others.
Thankfully the weather has been kind to us and now UK air space is once again open for business, summer holiday wardrobe planning can get well and truly under way.
We hope that you and your family haven’t been too badly affected by suspended flights and wish you all a lovely sun soaked and relaxing weekend. To those of you joining Harriet pounding London's streets on Sunday, we wish all you the best of luck.
