Over the last week a humble pair of pants has received a deluge of column inches and has even been featured on The Paul O’Grady show and This Morning. This underpant is Hom's new HO1 Maxi trunk with a unique horizontal fly for comfort and ‘ease of use’.
With all this media buzz, we wanted to find out what all the fuss was about so the Blogleaves team coaxed our straight talking new boy, Matt, into trying the product out for a day.
Aside from their famously directional approach, Hom are known for their super soft and ultra comfy styling and it seems this trunk is no different. Matt’s been enthusiastically extolling the virtues of his new underwear all day, claiming to “have never put on such a comfy pair before”. According to Matt the trunk also comes up trumps in the support department, offering the right level of support without...erm... squeezing when he’s at his desk or running around the office. How reassuring! The horizontal fly has also reduced “the awkwardness” often experienced by left-handers with traditional button and vertical open flys (our boy’s a left hander too).

This style of underwear is not one Matt would usually buy, so we were impressed that one day in his Homs has completely changed his mind.. So confident are Hom that you’ll be impressed with these too, they’re running a unique trial period exclusively for figleaves.com UK customers.
If, like Matt, you think you need a bit of convincing, trial the trunk in Hom’s Test the Best campaign. If you buy a pair of these trunks from figleaves throughout October, Hom are giving you the whole month to return them (final return date is October 31st 2009 so get your order in soon if you want to participate). If Matt’s opinion is anything to go by, we’re confident you’ll love them as much as him and don’t forget we offer free returns so this really is a great wearer trial. You can’t lose!
What do you think? Are you going to take part? We’re really interested to see what kind of a difference this fly makes so if you do take part in the trial, please check back in to let us know how it went.
