Gareth Pugh's Paris show yesterday was deep, dark and disturbing. Pure shades of intense, light swallowing black left the focus firmly on shape and texture; the devil really was in the detail. Glossy satin gave way to bristling spikes followed by delicate, finely cut sheers that somehow expressed a strong, almost aggressive femininity.
To get in on the act (and we strongly suggest you do!) you'll need some hold-it-all-in shapewear for underneath all that stretch satin. Beneath a floor length, sheer dress was styled a modest, nude coloured smooth brief. Finish with a bold slick of eyeliner.
