Anyway, the real lingerie news concerns Kathy Bates, who also appears in the film. How did she get into character? "Kathy Bates listened to her bra," says The Kansas City Star. It all starts with the clothes, apparently, and it was Bates' Fifties-style brassiere that told her all about the character.
