Sleepwear always gets glam at this time of year, and Pour Moi?'s semi-sheer chemise is no exception. As seen in GQ, it's yours for £25.
Cold, isn't it? What you need is a nice bra warmer - and inventor John Ward has knocked one up just in time, as seen in Spalding Today. (Failing that, you might just want to pop your bra on the radiator for a few minutes just before you get dressed).
Exciting news: David's not the only one wearing the Emporio Armani pants in the Beckham household any more - yes, his wife Victoria has just been signed up as the face of the brand's women's underwear, says the Telegraph. Fresh from her triumphant starring role in the Marc Jacobs ads she's certainly nabbing those advertising contracts - but can her famously petite frame do the business when it comes to lingerie? Watch this space.
A serious question, this: who, asks Australia's Daily Telegraph, is the best of the current crop of Australian uber-models? With the likes of Catherine McNeill (for Seafolly, above left), Lara Bingle (for Speedo, above right), Miranda Kerr, Stephanie Rice and Jennifer Hawkins all nabbing high profile lingerie and swimwear campaigns, these women now have a shot at emulating the pioneering Elle Macpherson - now a brand in her own right. Which of "the body corporate" is your money on?
Consumer body Which? has been looking into online retailers again - and guess who led the field when it came to clothes, shoes and accessories? Yes, figleaves.com emerged as the favourite online retailer in its category (an accolade we scooped back in March too), winning plaudits for our "large selection", "quality delivery service" and "excellent returns process". "Friendly" and "efficient"? We'll take that too. Find out more here.
So the air at Figleaves HQ is rather more fragrant than it used to be - yes, we've branched out into beauty and the results are as delicious as you might expect. Choose Nougat for pampering or Mandala Aroma for organic aromatherapy goodies - perfect for all those hard-to-please people on your gift list, of course, but we wouldn't blame you for popping something in the basket for yourself as well.
Today's hot topic for debate comes courtesy of the Daily Mail: "Could I be the only one suffering from 'cleavage-fatigue' or has it become a national epidemic?" asks journalist Louise Janson in response to the latest pics of Liz Hurley flaunting her famous assets in a hot pink corset.
Without presuming to speak for the rest of the nation, I must admit to not suffering from 'cleavage-fatigue' one little bit - after all, there is no quicker pick-me-up than a nice push-up bra. Below, some of our current faves.
Celebs in the news: once again, Ultimo demonstrates its knack of hiring the most talked-about spokesmodels for its wares. Not only is Danny Cipriani - rugby star and current squeeze of Kelly Brook - lined up to model its forthcoming menswear range, but Katie Green (dubbed "too fat" by her agency, apparently) has joined the Ultimo model stable too, says The Mirror. Meanwhile, the latest celeb to announce her intention of creating a lingerie line is The Hills star Lauren Conrad, reports OK!
Well we don't know what to be excited about first today: Marc by Marc Jacobs is finally moving into swimwear in a big way, reports WWD; meanwhile, over on this side of the pond, news reaches us of Coronation Street underwear. Underworld lingerie - named after the Coronation Street factory - is "in the pipeline", reports The Guardian.
Let's have a look at nursing bras today - thanks to those pictures of Angelina Jolie breastfeeding on the cover of W magazine, it's become topical all of a sudden. Sexy New Zealand brand Hotmilk is still causing a stir, of course, and new on the site today is this purple and black bamboo-lined set by upscale maternity lingerie brand Amoralia. It might not earn you the cover of W, but you will feel a tad more glamorous come feeding time.
It's pat-yourself-on-the-back day here at figleaves.com - yes, this logo on the left shows that we received a Gold award at comparison shopping site Shopzilla's Circle of Excellence awards the other day. Want to know more? Internet Retailing has the info.
It's breast cancer awareness month - which means that Hanky Panky is feeling charitable. For every one of these special pink thongs, adorned with a diamante breast cancer ribbon, that Hanky Panky sells, the brand will donate $2 to charity Susan G Komen for the Cure. Thong, $30; do your bit here. And the press clips? Left, as seen in Us Weekly, right, in iVillage.
"Get out of the gutter, people!" said iVillage this week in its round-up of the best of fall's hosiery. Figleaves.com buyer Denise Fraser was quoted on the importance of control legwear in creating a smooth and seamless look this season. What iVillage loves? These high waisted Spanx Tight End Pantyhose - "one of our favourite picks for a smooth hourglass silhouette".
The Today Show turned its attention to lingerie this week - and in particular, what to wear under those tricky dresses, tops and blouses. What works? This strapless and backless bra by The Natural came highly recommended. It's on special offer at figleaves.com and there are only a very few sizes left - so snap one up quick. Meanwhile, see the clip from The Today Show here.
Here's a sneak peek at a new brand coming to figleaves.com very soon indeed, and featured in this week's issue of Look. In bright jewel colours and pretty prints, G Brand will be pepping up your lingerie drawer any day now. As Look says, these pieces are "so on trend, it's going to be tough to cover them up!"
