Great news for fans of Hollywood bombshell Raquel Welch - she's planning a costume museum, says contactmusic.com. She has kept all her movie costumes apparently, including, yes, that cave girl bikini from the 1966 film One Million Years BC. Preferring the "the freedom and feel of air" there are number of suggestions we can make to Mr Madeley - our buyers recommend a pair of Canterbury Coolers which while providing a snug fit also have an open fly to let the air circulate. Me? I'd suggest going for a loose fitting boxer short from Fruit of the Loom.
But not wearing pants at all? That's not an option. I mean, we saw what happened to Judy when she popped out - let's save the nation from the male equivalent...
Seventeen magazine recommended lingerie for different occasions in this month's issue. What to wear on a Saturday night? This Betsey Johnson Intimates leopard print bra, $38 - "A low cut creates high push-up!" says Seventeen.
Meanwhile, Seventeen Prom had some recommendations for the big night. Wearing a plunge dress? This Fashion Forms U plunge bra, $28, is the answer.
Some catwalk pics for you today, from last weekend's Salon de la Lingerie in Paris where we got the scoop on all the trends coming up for autumn/winter 2008. What to look forward to? Loads of metallics, including bronze, silver and gunmetal; animal prints (see Lejaby, above left); icy blues; purple (6ixty 8ight, middle), and, of course, black (Simone Perele, right). Also a bit of an Art Deco feel, I thought - lots of nice scalloping going on at Lejaby, Lou and Aubade. Meanwhile, Passionata has had a makeover (more of which later) - think ice sculpture horses and David LaChapelle. Yeeha!
