New Year Lingerie!

While browsing the web earlier today I came across some great information regarding the lingerie I should be wearing as I ring in 2008 with friends next week.

In Mexico, wearing red lingerie means you will find love next year, and wearing yellow brings you money. I wonder if a bit of mix and match will work here?

In Ecuador it is believed that wearing yellow underwear will attract positive energy for the New Year.

In Spain and Italy, red underwear brings good luck and in Venezuela yellow brings love.

Becks again - this time in Reveal

Some new year predictions

As of 4pm today, Christmas is over as far as we're concerned. Some gorgeous stuff in the sale, of course, but let's have a look at what's coming up for 2008:

Minnie Mouse - our favourite new fashion icon lives on in the shape of big pink and white polka dots. They'll be all over your smalls by February.

Brighten up - look out for lots of juicy coral at the beginning of the year, with sunshine yellow to follow.

Back to the seventies. And the forties. Some re-issued classics for the former; Marc Jacobs style bralets take care of the latter.

Oh, and the fifties. Halternecks and skirted bikini bottoms here we come.

Return of a best seller

Good news for anyone who has ever fancied herself as a seventies movie star (and let's face it, who hasn't ever dreamed of having a Brigitte Bardot moment?). French brand Chantelle has reworked its iconic Fete line from the seventies, keeping all the old school glamour but bringing it bang up to date in terms of fit. And if the resulting collection's circle-patterned Calais lace and curve-friendly styling doesn't have you raring for your close-up then we don't know what will. See the collection here.
