Have you noticed that Victoria Beckham's bras are becoming a little fluorescent these days? Interesting story in The Sunday Times yesterday - there's a motion afoot at the British Medical Association annual meeting to call for bra fitting services to be made available on the NHS.
Apparently, cosmetic surgeons often see women in their clinics asking for a breast reduction when they don't really need one at all - simply wearing a good fitting bra could put paid to all their discomfort without having to undergo surgery.

So today's pic is of the lovely Vanessa Williams, aka scheming fashion editor Wilhelmina, captured here showing her appreciation for French lingerie brand Chantelle at the Tony Awards gifting suite on Sunday. Simon writes: A survey by Jockey International in time for Father's Day has revealed men's underwear gripes. The biggest moan was for our undies causing wedgies (46%) followed by ill-fitting elastic and scratchy tags.
They have also looked into the most embrassing places to make an 'underwear adjustment' with a job interview coming top (presumably once you've got the job you care a little less). This was followed by a romantic dinner and a business meeting. I'd also like to add in the gym for good measure, especially with mirrors all over the place - you never know who is watching.
The solution? Some nice, loose fitting cotton boxers usually do the trick for me, even better in the warm weather. Check out these Tommy Hilfiger boxers with an elasticated waist and a relaxed fit so they won't creep up when they shouldn't...

Not long now until this year's bra sensation - the so-called 'boob job bra' - arrives at figleaves.com. Otherwise known as the Le Mystere No.9, it's been designed by the American lingerie brand with the help of plastic surgeon David Brothers especially for the surgically enhanced. Turns out that fake breasts require an entirely different shape of bra - who knew?

Controversial garment of the week? It's the humble pyjama, would you believe. First, the Belfast 'pyjama mamas': headmaster Joe McGuinness has appealed to mothers at St Matthew's primary to get dressed before dropping their children off at the school. It's known as All Day Pyjama Syndrome, says The Times.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong tycoon Joseph Lau recently suffered the indignity of seeing a fellow passenger changing into his pjs in the First Class cabin - an experience so unpleasant that he just had to go out and buy his own plane, reports 4 Hoteliers. And in Abu Dhabi, three Australian businessmen were arrested after going, er, bananas in their in-flight pyjamas and causing havoc on the flight from Sydney.
