Are you a Comforter, a Traditionalist, a Seducer or a Lazy Boy? According to Life Style Extra, your pj personality reveals how compatible you are with your partner - and it's all serious stuff devised by psychologists at Manchester University. A Seducer (sexy red negligee) and a Lazy Boy (socks, t-shirt and boxers), for example? Doomed to fail, I'm afraid.

Anyway, here are a couple of our favourite new sleepwear arrivals - Derek Rose for him (for Traditionalists, I imagine) and a Vera Wang negligee for all you Seducers.

Here's what happens when you let a geek loose on bikini design: yep, the Malignant Mole bikini is just as gross as it sounds: expose it to UV light and little dark moles start to appear all over the fabric, reports gadget blog gearlog of designer Fiona Carswell's invention.

Something from the catwalk for you today - boxer shorts from Scanty, the Californian label from Harley riding designer Mickey Sills and beloved by off duty celebs for its Americana-inspired prints and flattering cuts.

You may remember a Scanty-inspired trend a while back for West Coast types to wear their pjs as outerwear - can't say I have yet braved the school run in my Scanty Supergirl set but they are my favourite pyjamas.

Stuck for something to wear on your wedding night? US Vogue has a suggestion. This dusky pink silk Elle Macpherson Intimates set (bra, $95, shorty, $55) was featured in the June issue's bridal themed shopping checklist.

• Contrary to what you may have heard, Ewan McGregor has not been buying Wonderjock underpants to enhance his assets, says news.com.au. "Given his reputation, we doubt very much there would be a need for this," sniffs a spokesman.
• Jessica Simpson is the latest celeb to be launching her own lingerie line, say our friends at The Lingerie Post.
• What to do with your old undies? Try filling a punching bag. Families in the US have been finding all kinds of dirty old clothing (and underwear) inside theirs, reports yahoo.com.
