Victoria gets a telling-off

Victoria Relocating to America might sound fabulous but if you do fancy life across the pond, you'll want to pack a bra - they're none too keen on nipples over there, it seems. Poor old Victoria Beckham has been getting a bit of a hard time in the press recently thanks to her penchant for going bra-less.

"There is nothing Posh about forgetting to wear a bra when gallivanting about in thin t-shirts," wrote one prudish magazine editor in an open letter which concluded: "Keep shunning that bra and in five years you'll have pendulums hanging off your clavicle."

Aubade in She

She_aubade Aubade

The new issue of She arrived in the office the other day and you know what? It's looking rather sleek and stylish these days - very impressed, we were. Anyway, here is Aubade's Hotel Tropical bikini adorning the beauty pages. A glamorous halterneck, it comes in this season's subtle take on gold - a creamy champagne.

New Sarah Harding pics

Ultimo

Here's one for all you Sarah Harding fans (and there are a lot of you) - new pictures of the Girls Aloud star in Miami modelling Ultimo's spring/summer collection.

Sarah enjoyed herself. "Miami was amazing!" she reveals. "I had a great time shooting in the gorgeous new Ultimo lingerie."

Ultimo founder Michelle Mone was pleased too. Although Sarah is not a supermodel, she says, "she could give any one of them a run for their money."

Should Naomi et al be quaking in their Louboutins? Let us know what you think.

A shock

Shock_w_2 Have you come across the Shock Absorber Bounce-o-meter yet? It's been around for a while but it's still as scary as ever.

Now that the evenings are getting lighter (and with all those charity fun runs looming), lots of us will be taking up running again - so now is probably a good time to remind ourselves of the evils of jogging without proper support. Don't say I didn't warn you.

The bra bag, the spin doctor and the $40,000 undies

  • More uses for a dead bra... turn it into a handbag, South Carolina handbag designer Jennifer Steller tells Tampa Bay's 10 News.
  • Lingerie model turned government spokeswoman Zsuzsa Demcsak is offending all kinds of folk in Hungary, reports The Times. Nothing to do with her preference for thongs over briefs; it's her personal blog (so hard to find a good local nursery, apparently) that is ruffling feathers.
  • Looking for some family entertainment over the Easter break? If you take any little ones to see The Last Mimzy, look out for what is possibly the most expensive underwear in movie history: a pair of leopard print boxers that cost $40,000 to create digitally. Might have been easier for Rainn Wilson to wear pj pants in the first place, no?
  • Dubai is a famously wonderful shopping destination - just don't expect to be served by a man if you are buying lingerie.

A message from Marlies

Marlies_dekkers_businesswoman_of__2

Congratulations to Dutch lingerie designer Marlies Dekkers, seen here clutching a celebratory bottle of bubbly (or is it perhaps a bottle-shaped award?) at Monday night's Businesswoman of the Year awards in The Hague.

On winning the Prix Veuve Clicquot, the designer had a message for all the women out there: "Don't just dream it, be it!"

What makes her a winner? Her resolutely modern approach to lingerie and swimwear for starters: sure, it's sexy, but you won't find any girly frills and ruffles here.
