Let's hear it for Speedo Pete

The politicians-looking-really-quite-good-in-their-swimwear trend has gone international. Following the sartorial triumphs of France's Segolene Royal and America's Barack Obama, New South Wales Liberal leader Peter Debnam (dubbed 'Speedo Pete' in his native Oz) is the latest politician to be photographed looking rather fetching on the beach - and, unlike Obama, he's been snapped in budgie smugglers, not boardshorts. The NSW government is not impressed, says the Sydney Morning Herald.
