• The U.S. Air Force jumps on the undies bandwagon by inventing self-cleaning underwear and tees. Apparently the technology involves a coating that repels water, resists stains, and kills bacteria.
• New year, new lucky underwear? According to the Victoria Times Colonist, some cultures look to influence luck in the new year with specific colors of undies. In Mexico, red underwear will bring good luck, but in Venezuela, it's yellow all the way.
