Japan's eco 'Bra Rangers' and Tom goes commando

In today's underwear news:

  • We all know that plastic carrier bags are very, very bad for the environment - but how to get out of the habit? Bra manufacturer Triumph has designed a bra to help wean Japanese women off the plastic: according to DNA India, the 'Bra Rangers' bra has removable padding that turns into a shopping bag.
  • Tom Ford, how could you? Page Six reports that the former Gucci head honcho is well known for going commando. "I'm famous for not wearing underwear," he said. "My mother keeps saying, 'Please stop telling people you don't wear underwear.' " We're with his mother on this one.
